Lot 1 contains : 918,080 square feet or 21 . 0762 Acres . to be known as NORTHCREST SUBDIVISION TO AMES, IOWA, and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Ames , Iowa, has recommended that the plat be approved, and the Department of Public Works of the City of Ames , Iowa has favorably reviewed the plat , and WHEREAS, the owner of said real estate , Northcrest , Inc . , has dedicated for public use as streets certain portions of said real estate , the location and dimensions of which are accurately shown on the plat , and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames , Iowa , that the dedication of the street should be accepted by the Council , and NEWBROUGH,JOHNSTON, BREWER,MADDUX n r //�� &NADLER 100K AGE , AMES,IOWA ��r�•P t7G. /�/ "^�"`` WHEREAS, it appears that the owner of the real estate has met all conditions as required by law, WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Counsel , City of Ames , Iowa , that by acceptance of the new easements from Northcrest , Inc . to the City of Ames , that certain prior easements granted to the City of Ames have now become obsolete and they should be abandonded and released, NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames , Iowa , that the plat of NORTHCREST SUBDIVISION TO AMES, IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of 24th Street within the said plat is hereby accepted for and on behalf of the City of Ames , Iowa , and all acts of Northcrest , Inc . , as grantor in the premises , are hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames , Iowa , and that certain prior easements more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached to this Resolution and incorporated by reference herein should be abandoned and released.
