RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE IN DATES FOR
ELECTRIC SERVICES DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, on November 25, 2014, Council approved preliminary specifications for the
Electric Services Distributed Control System and issued a Notice to Bidders; and,
WHEREAS,the original resolution set January 14,2015,as the bid due date and January 27,
2015, as the public hearing and contract award; and,
WHEREAS, staff has received inquiries from interested bidders requesting additional time
to submit bids; and,
WHEREAS, due to the recent holidays and the complexity of what is requested, staff has
determined that it would be in the City's best interest to extend the bid due date to allow all
interested bidders additional time to submit bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the requested date changes for the Distributed Control System, whereby setting January 28,
2015,as the bid due date and February 10,2015,as the date of public hearing, are hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 5`'day of January, 2015.
