WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of Ames, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as:
A part of the NE1/4 of Sec. 7 - Twp. 83N -
R24W of the. 5th P.M. , City of Ames, .
Story County, Iowa, described as follows:
"Commencing at the NE Corner of said Sec. 7;
Thence S89°38 ' 20".W along the North. line of
the NE 1/4 969 .55 ft. ; Thence South,. .90. 23
ft. ; Thence S88°36 ' 50"E, 30 ..0 ft. , to the
point of intersection of the South R.O.W.
line of Lincoln Way, and the East line of
Alcott Ave. , and the Point of Beginning;
Thence. Southeasterly along the South R.O.W.
of Lincoln Way, by the following courses:
S88°3615.0"E, .591. 82 ft. ; Thence Southeasterly
along a 1392.. 5 ft. radius arc (the long chord
bears S66°2815.0"E, 325.12 ft. ) an arc
distance of 325. 86 ft. ; Thence S7°36 'E., 36. 3
ft. ; Thence South, along the West R.O.W. line
of South Dakota Ave. , said line being parallel
to and 45 ft. Westerly from the East line of
the NEl/4,,. 1041. 45 ft. ; Thence S89°31' 25"W,

Thence North along the East line of College
Creek Development, First Addition, ,produced
South, and that line itself, 905. 64 ft. ; Thence

Drive, 152.55 ft. ; Thence North, along the
East line of Alcott Ave. , _323.56 ft. , to the
Point of Beginning, ". tract contains 27 .67 Acres , .
to be known as Landmark Subdivision to Ames., Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission of the City of
Aires has recommended that the Plat be approved, and
WHEREAS, the said owners have dedicated for public
use as streets a portion of the said real estate, the- location
and dimensions of which are accurately shown on the Plat, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of
the City of Ames, Iowa, that the dedication of the streets should
be accepted by the Council, and
WHEREAS, it now appears that the owners of the real
estate have met all conditions, as required by law, concerning
the platting of the real estate, and
WHEREAS, the said owners have dedicated to the City
Outlot "A" to be used for park purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of Landmark. Subdivision
to Ames, Iowa, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and
EGLAND, NEWBROUGH, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of
JOHNSTON, BREWER
& MADDUX

Outlot "A" within the subdivision of Landmark. Subdivision to
Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby accepted for park purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the' dedicati.on of the
streets within said Plat be and the same is hereby accepted
for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and all acts and
doings by the grantors in the premises are hereby confirmed
and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
on this 4th day of December 19 79 -
