RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
OF FLATBED BODY AND DIGGER DERRICK
FOR THE ELECTRIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS,bids and proposals were received for the purchase and installation of one Digger
Derrick, Saddle Box Flatbed Body, and Accessories for the Electric Services Department, City of
Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
To Altec Industries, Inc., of St. Joseph, Missouri., in the total amount of$126,462.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 25th day of November, 2014.
