C''1C TENANT'S CONSENT TO PLATTING
WHEREAS, LOWE'S HOME CENTERS, INC., a North Carolina Corporation
(the "Tenant") is the Tenant under that certain "Memorandum of Lease" filed on June 20,
1997, in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa as Instrument No. 97-06214;
and
WHEREAS the Memorandum of Lease grants to the Tenant certain rights and
interest in the real property described as follows:
Parcel "E" in the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 83 North,
Range 24 West of the 5th P.M., in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa,
as shown on the "Plat of Survey" filed in the office of the Recorder of
Story County, Iowa, on the 27th day of May, 1997, and recorded as in-
strument#97-05150 in Book 14 at Page 210.
and
WHEREAS, the Tenant has been requested to consent to the platting of the real
property which shall thereafter be known as Horne Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, and deems
it advisable to do so;
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the Tenant states that
the plat of the real property to be known as Horne Subdivision, Ames, Iowa is prepared
with the Tenant's free consent and in accordance with the Tenant's desire. The Tenant
further agrees that whatever right, title, lien, estate and interest the Tenant now has or
may hereafter acquire in said real estate by virtue of the "Memorandum of Lease", the
same shall be junior, inferior and subordinate to the Utility Easement dated December
�- 1997, on said real property granted by Horne-Ames, LLC to the City of Ames,
Iowa.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF Lowe's Home Centers, Inc., has caused this instrument to
be executed on this 9 t1 day of December, 1997.
