A RE90tUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CONSEN
FOR PLATTING HOMEWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the then City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, o
,. the 7th day of January, 1969, did determine that it would be in the
beet interest of the City of Aires, Iowa, that certain land then
owned by the City be platted and known ,as Homewood Addition to the
City of Ames, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council of the City of Alves , Iowa, a
then constituted, caused a plat of said Homewood Addition to the
City of Ames, Iowa, to be prepared and filed in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Ames , Iowa, and in the office of the
RscoJrder in and for Stogy County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the City of Ames , Iowa, a municipal corporation,
did on January 7, 1969, own all the land then platted as Homewood
Addition to the City of Ames, Iowan and
WHEREAS, an Acknowledgement of Consent has been prepared
for execution by the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Ames,
Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Ames, Iowa, that the action of the then City Council of
the City of Ames, Iowa, in connection with the platting of Homewoo
Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, on January 7, 1969 , be and
is hereby ratified and reaffirmed and that the Acknowledgement of
Consent prepared in connection with the platting of Homewood Add-
ition to the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby accept
and approved and that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Amen
Iowa, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the said Acknowledgement of Consent, and the City Clerk be and is
hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy of this Resolutio
and attach the same to said Acknowledgement of Consent.
Passed this 7th day of September , 1971.

and foregoing Resolution No. 6020 is a true and exact copy of said
resolution, and that said resolution was adopted by the City Council
