RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-415
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PARTIAL COMPLETION OF
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED FOR HILLSIDE SUBDIVISION,
FIFTH ADDITION, AND APPROVING AGREEMENT AND BOND
FOR COMPLETION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa, that:
SECTION ONE. In accordance with the Certificate of the Municipal Engineer that
the following public improvements required for approval of the final plat of Fifth Addition,
Hillside Subdivision, have been satisfactorily completed in accordance with approved
construction plans, the City Council accepts as satisfactory and complete: Storm sewer,
sanitary sewer, water main, asphalt base and curb.
SECTION TWO. An Improvement Agreement, secured by two Letters of Credit in
the amount of $28,000.00 (final top coat on streets and street lights) and $12,000.00
(sidewalks) is hereby authorized with respect to the following public improvements
required for approval of the final plat of the aforesaid subdivision: Final top coat on
streets, street lights and sidewalks.
