RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL PLAT OF GUGE SUBDIVISION
TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
Resolution No. 00-395
Being a Resolution accepting the final plat of Guge Subdivision to the City of Ames,
Iowa, consisting of the following described real estate:
The East One-half(E 1/2) of Lot Seventeen (17) in Emerald
Subdivision, an Official Plat now included in and forming a
portion of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa. Said tract
of land being subject to and together with any and all ease-
ments of record. Said tract of land contains 0.499 acres
more or less. Said real estate is to be known as Guge
Subdivision, a Replat of the East One-half(E 1/2) of Lot Two
(2), Emerald Subdivision,
said addition forming a part of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, the
final plat of Guge Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa, involving the land hereinafter
described, and;
WHEREAS, Eldon L. Guge and Paula A. Guge, husband and wife, are the sole owners of
all land hereinafter described to be known as Guge Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, it now appears that the said owners of said real estate have met all the condi-
tions as prescribed by Chapter 354 of the 1999 Code of Iowa and the Municipal Ordinances of
the City of Ames, Iowa, with respect to platting of said addition, and;
WHEREAS, said final plat was submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Ames, Iowa, as required by law, and said Planning and Zoning Commission has approved
the same and recommended to this Council that said final plat be approved by the City Council of
the City of Ames, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the final plat of Guge Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa, being an addition to the City of
Ames, Iowa, and involving the real estate described as follows:

be and it is hereby accepted and approved and that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Ames, Iowa, be and they are hereby directed to certify the Resolution affixed to said plats.
