Know a I men by these presents:
THAT we, Buck Construction,;Co. , .Inc., Ames, Iowa
as Principal, and MERCHANTS MUTUAL BONDING COMPANY of Des Moines, Iowa, (hereinafter
called the Surety) are held and firmly bound unto the Ci ty of .Ames, Iowa,

lawful money of the United States to the payment of which sum well and truly to be made, the Principal
herein firmly binds himself (themselves), their heirs, executors, and administrators; and the said Surety
binds itself, its successors, assigns, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these
presents.
NOW THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH, THAT, whereas the above bounden
Principal is platting certain lots entitled .Green's .third.additi On
being an official plat lying within the City of Ames
County of Story , State of Iowa.
WHEREAS, the above bounden Principal has agreed with the Obligee to install the following im-
provements:
street lights, street signs .and sidewalks
ALL such improvements to be completed in accordance with an agreement between the Principal
and the Obligee.
NOW, if the Principal shall in all respects fulfill his said obligation according to the terms thereof,
and shall satisfy all claims and demands incurred for same, and shall fully indemnify and save harm-
less the Obligee from all costs and damages which it may suffer by reason of failure to do so and shall
fully reimburse and repay the Obligee all outlays and expenses which it may incur in making good any
such default, then this obligation is to be void and of no effect; otherwise to remain in full force and
effect.

certify that the following is a full and true cony of Section 5 and Section 5b '
of Article II of the By-Lamm of said Company:
Section 5:--The Chairman- of the Board or President or any
Vices President or Secretary or any Assistant Secretary,
shall have pager and authority to execute on behalf of the
Capany, and attach the Seal of the Ccnpany thereto, bonds
and undertakings, recognizances, contracts of indemnity and
other writing obligatory in the nature thereof.
5b:--The signature of any authorized officer and Seal of the
Company may be affixed by facsimile to any Power of Attorney
or Certificaticn. thereof authorizinq the execution and
delivery of any bond, undertaking, recognizance, or other
suretyship obligations of the Company,. and such signature
and seal when so used shall have .the same force and effect
as.though manually fixed.
