RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL PLAT FOR GRAND JUNCTION SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames; Iowa, a
plat of real estate described as:
Parcel "F" in the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter(SW I/4) of
Section Two (2), Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5'P.M., Ames,
Iowa, as shown on the Plat of Survey filed in the office of the Recorder of Story
County, Iowa, on July 30, 1996, and recorded in Book 14, at Page 30,
to be known as GRAND JUNCTION SUBDIVISION, AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA; and
WHEREAS, the Plat has been submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission, which
has acted thereon as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the proprietor, mortgage holders and lienholder have executed written
consents, declaring that the platting is with their free consent, and is in accordance with their
desires; and
WHEREAS, the owner has complied with all conditions as set forth in the ordinances of
the City of Ames, Iowa, and the laws of the State of Iowa, with respect to such platting; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the Plat of GRAND JUNCTION SUBDIVISION, AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA,
be and is hereby accepted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the dedication to the public of all lands within the
plat that are designated for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main easements is approved
and accepted.
