CITY OF AMES, IOWA
RESOLUTION NUMBER 14-118
BEING A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF
AUBRY SUBDIVISION, AMES, IOWA.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as follows:
The Real Estate described on the attached Exhibit A
to be known as Aubry Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, said real estate being situated
within the corporate limits of the City of Ames, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
acted on said plat as provided by law and has recommended that said plat be
approved, and
WHEREAS, THOMAS I. AUBRY and CARLA R. AUBRY are the owners
of said real estate and will execute a written consent and dedication to the City of
Ames, Iowa upon approval of this Resolution by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the conditions and requirements of the
relevant Sections of the Code of Iowa, and the ordinances of the City of Ames,
Iowa, have been met to the extent the City Council deems appropriate, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the plat of Aubry Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, Ames, Iowa, should be accepted
and approved, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, that the plat of Aubry Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, Ames, Iowa„ be and
it is hereby accepted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts of the owners and proprietors
of said real estate be and they are hereby confirmed and approved by the City
Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Ames, Iowa, be and they are hereby directed to certify the Resolution affixed to
said Plat.

We, Ann Campbell and Diane Voss, being the duly elected and appointed
Mayor and City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby certify
that the above Resolution is a true and accurate copy of said Resolution; that
said Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, at a duly called meeting thereof on

Beginning at a point 198 feet West of the center of Section 27, Township 84
North, Range 24 West of the 5th PM, Ames, Iowa on the East and West Quarter
Section line, thence S 88°36' W, 132 feet on the East and West Quarter Section
Line, thence North 330 feet parallel to the North and South Quarter Section line,
thence S 88036' W, 49.5 feet parallel to the East and West Quarter Section line,
thence N 8030' E, 334.88 feet, thence N 88°36' E, 132 feet parallel to the East
and West Quarter Section Line, thence South 660 feet parallel to the North and
South Quarter Section Line to the point of beginning, containing 2.18 acres, more
or less, including the present established highway
