, SUBJECT: Auction Sale of Remaining Eastgate Lots
The First National Bank has filed a Motion to Compel an auction sale of the remaining lots. This
would be good for the City. The Bank is asking that the hearing on this motion be not later than
July 29. The remaining unsold lots are: 6,7, 8,9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19,21,22, and
23. In anticipation of the Court granting the motion, we should be prepared to state the amount
receivable for utility connection fees and assessments for each lot. You will recall that on
November 23,2004, at staff s request,the base amount for the Dayton assessment calculation was
raised from$141,000 to$210,000. If staff believe that base amount should be increased again,we
should take that matter to the Council as soon as possible.
