RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2012/13 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS (WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the
2012/13 Water System Improvements (Water Main Replacement) for the City of Ames, Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated March 27,2012,by and between the City of Ames,Iowa,and Ames
Trenching &Excavating, Inc., of Ames, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2012/13 Water System Improvements(Water Main
Replacement)has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms
of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $152,853.00.
Section 3. The amount due Ames Trenching & Excavating, Inc., of Ames, Iowa, is
hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 28th day of January, 2014.
