I, Doris M. Samson, Treasurer of Story County, Iowa,
certify that the records in this office show that the real estate
described in the attached plat and known as DUFF CENTRE
SUBDIVISION OF AMES, IOWA, is free from taxes as of this date,
excepting, however, the second and last installment of taxes for
the fiscal year July 1 , 1987 , to June 30 , 1988 (those payable in
the fiscal year ending June 30 , 1989 ) , assessed against that
portion of said real estate which was formerly railroad
right-of-way.
