RESOLUTION NUMBER 00-022
BEING A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF DELAWARE
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AMES, IOWA.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as:
``Beginning at a point 6 feet South of the SW Corner of the public
square of New Philadelphia, now a part of Ames, Iowa, thence
North on the West line of the said public square 120 feet, thence
East 220 feet, thence South 120 feet, thence West 220 feet to the
point of beginning; AND Beginning at a point 6 feet South of the SW
Corner of the public square of New Philadelphia, now a part of
Ames, Iowa, thence East 220 feet, thence South 6 feet, thence West
220 feet to the West line of the said public square/extended,
thence North 6 feet to the point of beginning,
to be known as DELAWARE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AMES, IOWA, said real estate
being situated within the corporate limits of the City of Ames, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
acted on said plat as provided by law and has recommended that said plat
be approved, and
WHEREAS, BRENT A. HAVERKAMP and TORI HAVERKAMP are the owners of
said real estate and will execute a written consent and dedication to Ames,
Iowa upon approval of this Resolution by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the conditions and requirements of the relevant
Sections of the Code of Iowa, and the ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa,
have been met to the extent the City Council deems appropriate, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the plat of DELAWARE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, Ames, Iowa, should be
accepted and approved, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, that the plat of DELAWARE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AMES, IOWA„ be
and it is hereby accepted and approved,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts of the owners and proprietors of
said real estate be and they are hereby confirmed and approved by the City
Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Ames, Iowa, be and they are hereby directed to certify the Resolution affixed
to said Plat.

We, Ted Tedesco and Diane Voss, being the duly elected and
appointed Mayor and City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Ames, Iowa, do
hereby certify that the above Resolution is a true and accurate copy of said
Resolution; that said Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, at a duly called meeting thereof on the
25th day of January , 2000.
