HomeMy WebLinkAboutA017 - Resolution No. 93-393 adopted October 19, 1993 RESOLUTION NO. 93-393 RESOLUTION 93-393 ACCEPTING PLAT AND STREETS AND REAFFIRMING RESOLUTION NUMBER 81-211 ACCEPTING PLAT AND STREETS WHEREAS, on July 7, 1981, the Ames City Council adopted a Resolution accepting the plat of real estate described as follows: The East 500 feet of the West 580 feet of the S 1/2 of the SW Fractional 1/4 of Section 7—T83N—R23W of the 5th P.M. , in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, EXCEPT the South 280 feet thereof; more particularly described as follows: "Commencing at the SW corner of the SW Fractional 1/4 of Section 7—T83N—R23W of the 5th P.M. , in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence N00004'20"E, 280.0 feet along the West line of the SW 1/4 of said Section 7; thence N89°17'50"E, 80.0 feet along the North line of the South 280 feet of the SW 1/4, to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N89017'50"E, 500.0 feet along said line; thence N00°04'20"E, 1,033.9 feet along the East line of the West 580 feet of the S 1/2—SW 1/4; thence S89°22'00"W, 500.0 feet along the North line of the S 1/2 — SW 1/4; thence S00004'20"W, 1,034.5 feet along the East line of the West 80 feet of the S 1/2 — SW 1/4, to the Point of Beginning," to be known as First Addition, Dayton Park Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the Resolution, Earl Rusher and Rusher Crane & Rental Service, Inc. , 's interest in a portion of the real estate was acquired by Eagle Grove Crane Service, Inc. , and WHEREAS, Krishna Motels, Inc. , and Paul McKeen and Donna Jean McKenn, husband and wife, have a recorded interest in a portion of the real estate, and WHEREAS, Eagle Grove Crane Service, Inc. , Krishna Motels, Inc. , and Paul McKeen and Donna Jean McKeen, husband and wife, have consented to the platting of the real estate and have dedicated their interest in the real estate to be divided into lots and streets with their free consent and in accordance with their desires and wishes, and WHEREAS, it now appears that the owners and all persons having a recorded interest in the real estate described above have, by virtue of a covenant for easements platting and improvements attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, met all conditions as required by law concerning the platting of the real estate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that Resolution Number 81-211 is reaffirmed and that the plat of First Addition, Dayton Park Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and 581 _ 55 A �, e , BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts and doings of the grantors in the premises are hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, on this 19th day of October 1993.
