Home My WebLink About~Master - Change Order and Completion of 2010/11 & 2011/12 Asphalt Resurfacing and Seal Coat Removal/Asphalt Reconstruction Program RESOLUTION NO. 13-450 RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 AND ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF 2010/11 AND 2011/12 ASPHALT RESURFACING AND SEAL COAT REMOVAL/ASPHALT RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Change Order is necessary and proper on the above contract; and, WHEREAS,furthermore,the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 Asphalt Resurfacing and Seal Coat Removal/Asphalt Reconstruction Program for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated May 8, 2012, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Manatt's, Inc., of Brooklyn, Iowa. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that Change Order No. 2 on contract with Manatt's, Inc., of Brooklyn, Iowa, for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 Asphalt Resurfacing and Seal Coat Removal/Asphalt Reconstruction Program in the amount of$83,899.88 be approved and adopted as attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa, as follows: Section 1. The total contract for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 Asphalt Resurfacing and Seal Coat Removal/Asphalt Reconstruction Program has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved. Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $982,541.53. Section 3. The amount due Manatt's,Inc.,of Brooklyn,Iowa,is hereby ordered paid as provided by law. Section 4.
