HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Plat of Survey for 2122 and 2130 McCarthy Road DO NOT WRITE IN THE SPACE ABOVE THIS LINE,RESERVED FOR RECORDER Prepared by:Douglas R.Marek,Ames City Attorney,515 Clark Avenue,Ames,IA 50010 Phone:515-239-5146 Return to:Ames City Clerk,P.O.Box 811,Ames,IA 50010 Phone:515-239-5105 RESOLUTION NO. 12-592 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR 2122 AND 2130 MCCARTHY ROAD FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS, the site is located at 2122 and 2130 McCarthy Road, and the owner is Shahbaz Ahmed Merchant and Kaukab Barni Merchant; and, WHEREAS,the real estate description is Lot 21, except the East 3.9'thereof,and the West 120' of Lot 22,all in First Addition Country Club Heights,City of Ames,Story County,Iowa,and Lot 20,the East 3.9 of Lot 21 and that part of Lot 22 described as:commencing at a point 3.9'West of the NE Corner of Lot 22;thence South 65';thence East 70.5'to the boundary line of Lot 20;thence NW along said line, which lies between Lots 20 and 22, to the NE Corner of said Lot 22; thence West 3.9' to the point of beginning, all in First Addition Country Club Heights, City of Ames, Story County, Iowa; and, WHEREAS,a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with the following conditions: The official signing and recording of the Plat of Survey will not be completed until evidence of a conforming single-family structure is verified at the time of occupancy. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of Survey for 2122 and 2130 McCarthy Road is hereby approved.
