RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR
515 DOUGLAS AVENUE
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS,application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line adjustment per
Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS,the site is located at 515 Douglas Avenue,and the owner is City of Ames,Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the real estate description is: Lots 1,2,3 and the East 130'of Lots 4 and 5,Block 8,Original
Town of Ames,City of Ames,Story County,Iowa,and the West 50'of Lots 4 and 5,Block 8,Original Town of Ames,
City of Ames,Story County,Iowa,and the South 69'of the North-South Alley between 5`h Street and 6`h Street,Block
8, Original Town of Ames,City of Ames, Story County,Iowa;more particularly described as follows: beginning at
the Southeast(SE)Corner ofParcel"E",as described in Instrument Number 20 1 1-0000493 9,Block 8,Original Town
of Ames,in the City of Ames,Story County,Iowa;thence,NO 1°06'14"W 69.00 feet along the East line of said Parcel
"E";thence,N88°58'34"E 16.00 feet to the West line of Lot 4, said Block 8;thence, SO °06'14"E 69.00 feet to the
Southwest(SW)Corner of Lot 5, said Block 8;thence S88°58'35"W 16.00 feet to the point of beginning,also now
known as Parcel"F,"containing 1.27 acres; and,
WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered by the
Planning and Housing Department with no conditions; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of
Survey for 515 Douglas Avenue is hereby approved.
