WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of Ames, Iowa, a Plat of real estate described as:
A part of the N 1/2 of NE 1/4 of Section 7, Township
83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M. , City of
Ames, Story County, Iowa, described as follows:
"Commencing at the NE corner of said Section 7,
thence S 89038120" W along the North line of NE
1/4, 1634 .93 feet; thence South, 70 .0 feet;
thence S 89038120" W, 35.0 feet; thence South,
19 .41 feet; thence Southwesterly on a 656 .98 foot
radius curve, concave to the Northwest, an arc
distance of 421. 64 feet to the point of beginning;
said point of beginning also being the southeast
corner of Lot 1, 2nd Addition to College Creek
Development; thence S 71059 ' E, 73.52 feet; thence
Northeasterly on a 726 .98 foot radius curve concave
to the NW, an arc distance of 73.02 feet, (the
long chord bears N 32001145" E, 72.99 feet) ;
thence S 65057130" E, 221.09 feet; thence N 89038120"
E, 80 .0 feet; thence South, 120 .0 feet; thence S
16°43 -40" E, 62. 54 feet; thence South, 190.0 feet;
thence S 35008120" W, 118 .0 feet; thence N 66013 '
W, 322. 37 feet; thence N 74015 ' W, 201. 97 feet;
thence N 58014 ' W, 70 .0 feet; thence Northeasterly
on a 2575.99 foot radius curve concave to the SE,
an arc distance of 225. 14 feet (the long chord
bears N 34016105" E, 225. 07 feet) , to a point of
tangency; thence N 36046120" E, 136.23 feet, to
the point of beginning",
to be known as College Creek Development Third Addition to
Ames, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission of the City of
Ames, has recommended that the Plat be approved, and,
WHEREAS, the said owners have dedicated for public
use as streets a portion of the said real estate, the location
and dimensions of which are accurately shown on the Plat, and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of
the City of Ames, Iowa, that the dedication of the streets should
be accepted by the Council, and,
WHEREAS, it now appears that the owners of the real
estate have met all conditions, as required by law, concerning
the platting of the real estate;
HEGLAND, NEWBROUGH, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council

of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of College Creek
Development Third Addition to Ames, Iowa, be, and it is hereby
accepted and approved, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the dedication of the
streets within said Plat be, and the same is , hereby accepted
for and on behalf of the City of Ames , Iowa, and all acts and
doings by the grantors in the premises are hereby confirmed
and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames , Iowa,
on this 3rd day of September 1974 .

the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby certify that the above and
foregoing Resolution Number 74-16as a true and accurate copy
of the said Resolution; and that the said Resolution was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Ames , Iowa, at
a duly called meeting thereof on the 3rd day of September
1974 .
