ACCEPTING THE PLAT OF CLEAR CREEK ADDITION II PHASE II AND
APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT UPON A PORTION OF THE
PLATTED AREA.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Ames, Iowa, a Plat of the land hereinafter de-
scribed designated as "CLEAR CREEK ADDITION II PHASE II."
WHEREAS, said plat has been submitted to the Planning
and Zoning Commission as required by law and has been re-
turned to the City Council with the recommendations of the
Planning and Zoning Commission.
WHEREAS , Dick Coy & Sons , a partnership composed of
Richard Coy, Ronald Coy and Gregory Coy, and M. D. Seiser,
Jean A. Seiser, Gregory Coy, Sandra Johnson and The Clear
Creek Homeowners Association Inc. ,are the owners of the real
estate, have executed and duly acknowledged an instrument
consenting to said plat.
WHEREAS , it now appears that said owners of said real
estate have complied with all of the requirements of Chapter
409 of the Code of Iowa and the platting ordinance of the
City of Ames with respect to the platting of said real es-
tate.
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing before
the Planning and Zoning Commission and receipt of its favor-
able report and recommendation, has heretofore approved by
resolution under the zoning ordinance of the City of Ames a
planned residential unit development containing 19 dwelling
units upon said Clear Creek Addition II Phase II.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ames,
Iowa, does hereby accept and approve the plat of CLEAR CREEK
ADDITION II PHASE II, involving the real estate described as
follows, to-wit :
Lots One ( 1 ) , Two (2) , Three (3) and Four (4) , also
Lots B, C, D, E, and F, all in the Plan-
ned Unit Development of Clear Creek Addition II, in
the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa.
A part of Lot Fourteen (14) in the Southwest Quar-
ter (SW1 /4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW1 /4) of
Section 5, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the
5th P.M. , in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa;
described as follows :
Commencing at a point on the North line of the
Southwest Quarter (SW1 /4) of the Southwest Quarter
(SW1 /4) of Section 5, Township 83 North, Range 24
West of the 5th P.M. , in the City of Ames, Story
County , Iowa, which is 166 . 61 feet West of the
Northeast Corner thereof; thence South 02°22'20"
East , 263 . 43 feet ; thence South 40°20 ' 00" West ,
233 .0 feet to the Point of Beginning; (the follow-
ing calls are around the perimeter of Lot "B, " in
the Planned Unit Development of Clear Creek Addi-
tion II) ; thence continuing South 40020 '00" West,
83 . 00 feet ; thence South 25 * 10100" West , 269 . 93
feet ; thence South 42°53 ' 30" East , 87 . 27 feet ;
thence South 38°58 ' 00" West , 134. 95 feet to the
intersection with the North right of way line of
Westbrook Drive; thence Northwesterly, along a
468.29 foot radius curve, concave Northeasterly, an
arc distance of 48.25 feet (the long chord bears
North 47057 ' 00" West , 48 . 23 feet) ; thence North
45000 '00" West, 118. 90 feet; thence Northwesterly,

along a 528. 30 foot radius curve, concave Southwesterly, an
arc distance of 278 . 22 feet ( the long chord bears North
60°05 ' 15" West, 275 .02 feet) ; thence North 01 °20 ' 00" West,
90 . 72 feet ; thence North 45°00 ' 00" East, 287. 78 feet ; thence
South 45000 ' 00" East , 92 . 00 feet ; thence North 45 °00 ' 00 '
East, 143. 78 feet ; thence South 59°42 ' 30" East, 213. 50 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
reaffirm its approval of a planned residential unit develop-
ment under the zoning ordinance of the City of Ames authoriz-
ing the construction of 19 dwelling units upn said Clear
Creek Addition II Phase II .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of
the City of Ames, Iowa, are hereby authorized and directed to
certify and affix to said plat a true copy of this resolu-
tion .
ADOPTED this 19th day of March 1985.

Iowa, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolu-
tion is a true and exact copy of said resolution ; that said
resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, at a regular meeting thereof on the date shown
therein .
