�KNOTVT ALL PERSONS BY THIS INSTRUMENT: That we, the un-
dersigned, in consideration of One Dollar and other good and
valuable consideration , do hereby grant unto the City of Ames ,
Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns ,
hereinafter referred to as GRANTEE, upon the conditions here-
inafter recited, the perpetual right to enter upon the land
hereinafter described for the Durposes of this easement and
the perpetual right to construct , reconstruct , cover_ over,
clean up , operate , use , maintain and repair electric lines ,
consisting of holes , wires , cables , conduits , fixtures , an-
chors and other equipment required for the transmission of
electricity over, upon, across and under the following de-
scribed real estate , situated in the County of Story, State
of Iowa, to-wit :
All of Lot B, Clear Creek Addition II to Ames, Iowa
AND
The undersigned further grants unto the City of Ames ,
Story County, Iowa, the perpetual right to construct , recon-
struct , operate and maintain a sanitary sewer over the fol-
lowing described real estate :
(a) An existing permanent easement 20 _feet on each side
of the following described centerline :
Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot 13 , in the
Southwest Ouarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 5 ,
Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P .M. , in the
City of Ames , Story County , Iowa (also being a Point on
the North line of Lot A, in Clear Creek Addition II) ,
which is 332 . 9 feet [,lest of the Northeast Corner of the
Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 5 ;
thence South 16029 ' 00" West 151 . 3 feet ; thence South 42'
31' 20" west 350 . 15 feet ; thence North 89°30 ' 00" West
337 . 45 feet to the West line of Lot 14 in the Southwest
Ouarter of the Southwest Ouarter of said Section 5 (also
being a point on the West line of Lot 20 in Clear Creek
Addition II , which is North 01°20 ' 00" ?Jest 248 . 75 feet
from the Southwest Corner thereof) .
(b) A permanent easement 5 feet on each side of the
following described centerline :
Commencing at a point on the North line of Lot A, in
Clear Creek Addition II , which is 332 . 9 feet West of
the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 5 , Township 83 North,
Range 24 West of the 5th P .M. , in the City of Ames ,

Southwest Quarter of Section 5 , Township 83 North ,
Range 24 West of the 5th P .M. , in the City of Ames ,

The undersigned further grants unto the City of Ames ,
Story County, Iowa , the perpetual right to construct , recon-
struct , operate and maintain a storm sewer over the following
described real estate :
(d) An existing permanent easement 5 feet on each side
of the following described centerline :
Commencing at a point on the North line of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 5 , Township
83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P .M. , in the City of
Ames , Story County, Iowa (also being the Northeast Corner
of Clear Creek Addition II) , which is 166 . 61 feet West of
the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Ouarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 5 ; thence South 02°22 ' 20"
East 263 . 43 feet ; thence South 40°20 ' 00" West 179 . 8 feet
to the point of beginning ; thence North 36°30 ' 00" West
4. 75 feet ; thence North 26°30 ' 00" TJest 127 . 0 feet .
All of the foregoing; rights are granted by the undersigned
and shall be accepted and exercised by Grantee subject to the
following terms and conditions :
1. Grantee shall assume responsibility for all damage
to the above described real estate caused by its failure to
use due care in the exercise of the rights granted herein.
2 . Grantee shall have the right to trim or remove trees
within the aforesaid easement areas where necessary to secure
a clearance of four feet from wires or poles .
3 . Grantee shall have the right to extend to any tele-
phone , telegraph, electric power, gas or cable television
company the right to use jointly or separately with Grantee
the aforesaid easement areas for the purposes above enumerated.

as such partner, acknowledged the execution of said instrument
to be the voluntary act and deed of said partnership , by it
and by him voluntarily executed.
