KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS : That the City of Ames,
Iowa, a municipal ,corporation, in consideration of the ease-
ments granted to it in exchange -for . those released by this
deed does hereby Quit Claim and release unto Wise Burroughs
and Helen S. Burroughs of 3102 West Street, Ames, Iowa 500.10
all -of the City of Ames' s right, title and interest in the
EASEMENTS previously granted to the City of Ames, Iowa, or
reserved by it in the following .referenced documents and in
the land described in those documents :,
Easement 1 . An. easement reserved in a deed dated May
20 , 1957 ,. which deed was filed in the office of the Story
County Recorder on May .24 , 1957 , and recorded in Book 106 at
Page 292 and in which the City quit claimed to Zinabell D.
Pumroy the following real estate situated in Story County,
Iowa: '
That portion of the vacated Street lying East of
Lots 1 and 4, Ellis' Addition, Ames, Iowa, describ-
ed as Commencing at the Southeast Corner of said
Lot 4 , thence Northerly along the East line of said
Lots 4 & 1 to the South line of Woodland Street,
thence Southeasterly along the South line of Wood-
land Street to .a point. 12 feet West of the North
Corner of Lot 2 , Olson' s Subdivision, thence South-
westerly to the point of beginning. ,
Easement 2 . An easement obtained by document filed in
the office of the Story County Recorder on April 3 , 1951 , and.
recorded .in Book 71 at Page 520 wherein the City obtained an
easement from Lester E. Armstrong and Beulah. .S.. Armstrong
over the following real estate situated in Story County,
Iowa:
Outlot A Ellis Addition; Lot Three (3) Olson' s Sub-
division; Lot Two (2) Olson' s Subdivision, and the
perpetual . right to construct, reconstruct., clean
up , operate , maintain , cover over and repair a'
storm sewer on said land, said sewer being located
on the land. just described in approximately .the
following line: ,
Beginning at .the end of the present storm sewer in
the North part of Lot 2 Olson' s Subdivision and
running in a Southerly direction 131 .7 ' through Lot
2 and into Lot 3 thence in a Westerly direction
121 .8 ' through Lot 3 Olson' s Subdivision and into
outlot A Ellis Addition to the end of present storm
sewer.
Easement 3 . An 'easement reserved in a deed dated May
. 20 , 1957, which deed was filed in the office of the Story
County Recorder on May 24, 1957 , , and recorded in Book 1.06 at
Page 293 and in which the City quit claimed to Wise Burroughs
the following real estate situated in Story County, Iowa:
That portion of the vacated street lying East of
Lot 5 , Ellis Addition, and West of Lots 2 and 3 ,
Olson' s Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, and That portion
. of the . vacated street .lying West of said Lot 2 ,
Olson' s Subdivision, described as commencing at the
Southeast Corner of Lot 4 , Ellis Addition, thence.
Northeasterly to a point on the South line of Wood-
land Street 12 feet West of the North corner of Lot
2 , Olson' s Subdivision, thence Southeasterly on the
South line of Woodland Street to the said North
corner of the said Lot 2 , thence Southerly on the

West line of said Lot 2 , to a point directly East
of the Southeasat corner of Lot 4 , Elli's Addition,
thence West to the point of beginning, All in Ames,
Iowa,
NOTE: This deed is not intended to transfer title to the
real estate but to release and/or transfer the easements over
the real estate.

Iowa, personally appeared F. Paul Goodland and Nancy Gibbons ,
to me personally known, who , being by me duly sworn, did say
that they are the Mayor and City Clerk, respectively, of the
City of Ames, Iowa, and that they executed the above deed at
the direction of the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa,
and by its authority; and , that the said F. Paul Goodland and
Nancy Gibbons, acknowledged the execution of said instrument
to be the voluntary act and deed of said City, ' by it and by
them voluntarily executed.
