WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
Ames, Iowa, a Plat of real estate described as:
The plat of Brookview Place Second Addition, Ames, Story
County, Iowa, being an Official Replat of part of Outlot "X" in
Brookview Place First Addition, an Official Plat, Ames, Story
County, Iowa, as described as:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4) of Section 31, Township 84 North, Range 24 West of the 5th
P.M. , Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence,
North 88047 '-25" West along the South Line of the Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4) of said Section 31, a distance of 7.85 feet to the
Southeast Corner Lot "A" in Brookview Place First Addition, an
Official Plat, Ames, Story County, Iowa;
thence, N00000 '-0011E along the East Line of said Lot "A" , a
distance of 40. 00 feet to the Northeast Corner of said Lot "A";

Said tract of land being subject to and together with any and
all easements of record.
Said tract of land contains 32 . 18 acres more or less,
to be known as Brookview Place Second Addition to the City of Ames,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Housing of the
City of Ames has recommended that the Plat be approved, and
WHEREAS, the said owners have dedicated for public use
as streets a portion of the said real estate, the location and
dimensions of which are accurately shown on the Plat, and
WHEREAS, the subdivision conforms to the comprehensive
plan of the City of Ames and conforms to Sections 114A.8, 354. 6
and 354 . 11 of the Code of Iowa, and conforms to the standards and
conditions established by the City of Ames, Iowa, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of Brookview Place Second
Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, be and it is hereby accepted
and approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the dedication of the
streets within said Plat be and the same is hereby accepted for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts and doings by the
grantors in the premises are hereby confirmed and approved by the
City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, on this llth day of

Resolution Number 95-295 is a true and accurate copy of the said
Resolution; and that the said Resolution was passed and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, at a duly called
