ATTORNEYS OPINION
I, W. A . SINGER, do hereby state that I am a duly
licensed and practicing attorney at law and a member of the firm
of Pasley, Singer & Seiser, 327 Sixth Street, Ames, Iowa . I
further state that I have examined the abstract of title to the
following described real estate, to-wit :
Beginning at a point One Hundred Ten (110) feet West
of the Southeast (SE) corner of the Northeast
Quarter (NE4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of
Section Five (5) , Township Eighty-three (83) North,
Range Twenty-four (24) West of the 5th P.M.., Iowa,
thence North Twenty-four (24) rods, thence West Two
Hundred Twenty (220) feet, thence South Twenty-four
(24) rods, thence East Two Hundred Twenty (220)
feet to the place of beginning, except street, in
the City of Ames, Iowa ;
commencing with the original entry down to and including the
day of'11��7E01B6;k 1968, as last certified by Story
County Abstract Company, Nevada, Iowa .
It is my opinion that the fee title to the said real
estate is in TOM A. BRINDLEY and LaVERNA R. BRINDLEY, husband
and wife, as joint tenants, with right of survivorship, and not
as tenants in common, and that the said real estate, as platted
and subdivided and now known as Brindley` s Subdivision of Ames,
Iowa, is free from encumbrance, subject only to easements of
record and the general zoning ordinances of the City of Ames,
Iowa .
