SANITARY SEWER, WATER MAIN AND STORM SEWER EASEMENT
I, William C. Knapp, trustee of the William C. Knapp Revocable
Trust, of West Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby
grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors
and assigns, the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, maintain and
use its sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer across the following
described real estate:
A 60.00 feet wide easement that is centered on the following described
lines:
Commencing as a point of reference at the northwest corner of lot
10; thence N00 '5410011E, 30.00 feet to the point of beginning;
thence N89 `06100"W, 35.00 feet to the point of terminus.
and
Commencing as a point of reference at the southwest corner of lot
22; thence S06 *48125"W, 30.00 feet to the point of beginning;
thence N83 `11135"W, 35.00 feet to the point of terminus.
and
Commencing as a point of reference at the northeast corner of lot
22; thence N84 '00'00"E, 30.00 feet to the point of beginning;
thence N06 °00100"W, 35.00 feet to the point of terminus.
all within Bloomington Heights Plat 7, City of Ames, Iowa.
The foregoing right is granted upon the express condition that the
users of the granted right will assume liability for all damage to the
hereinbefore described real estate and adjoining real estate caused by
failure to use due care in the exercise of the granted right.
