RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR PURCHASE OF UTILITY BODY AND AERIAL PLATFORM
WITH ACCESSORIES
FOR THE ELECTRIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 23ra day of February, 2012, for the
purchase of a Utility Body and Aerial Platform with Accessories for the Electric Services
Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
To Altec Industries, Inc., of St. Joseph, Missouri, in the amount of$108,910.00.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 27`h day of March, 2012.
