HomeMy WebLinkAboutA004 - Resolution No. 94-350 adopted August 23, 1994 t RESOLUTION NUMBER 94-350 ACCEPTING PLAT AND STREETS WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of Ames, Iowa, a plat designated as First Addition, Bentwood Subdivision, in Ames, Iowa, the said plat concerning land described as: SEE ATTACHED SCHEDULE "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF CONTAINING THE CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION, and WHEREAS, the said plat was submitted to the Ames Planning and Zoning Commission as required by law and the said Ames Planning and Zoning Commission has requested of this Council that said plat be accepted and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, and WHEREAS, Erben A. Hunziker, as Trustee of the Erben A. Hunziker Revocable Trust dated July 28, 1992; and Donald M. Furman and Ruth W. Furman, as Trustees of the Donald and Ruth Furman Revocable Trust dated March 1, 1991, own the above described real estate, located in Ames, Story County, Iowa, and WHEREAS, the said owners have complied with all conditions as set forth in the Ordinances of the City of Ames and the laws of the State of Iowa, and WHEREAS, the said owners did on the 9th day of August 1994 , dedicate for public use as streets and places a portion of said real estate contained in First Addition, Bentwood Subdivision, in Ames, Iowa, the dimensions of which are accurately shown on the plat of said land, and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the dedication of said streets and places as contained in said plat in proper and should be accepted by the Council. 9 - 1�838 �q� ,�3 0467 r 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the said plat of First Addition, Bentwood Subdivision, in Ames, Iowa, located on the real estate above described be, and it is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk of Ames, Iowa, are hereby directed to certify this Resolution and affix the same to the plat, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of the streets and places contained in said land be and the same are hereby accepted for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and all acts and doings by the grantors in the premises are hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, on this 23rd day of August_, 1994 .
