MORTGAGEE'S CONSENT TO PLATTING
WHEREAS, Brenton Bank (the "Mortgagee") the present owner of the mortgage given
by Allen G.Lang and Joyce R. Lang,husband and wife, under date of October 13, 1998, and filed
in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on October 22, 1998, and recorded as
Instrument No. 98-14627, and therefore, Mortgagee has an interest in the real property described
in the consent to platting to which this Mortgagee's Consent to Platting is attached;
WHEREAS, the Mortgagee has been requested to consent to the platting of the real
property described in the attached subdivision plat to be known as Amethyst Place Subdivision,
Ames,Story County,Iowa and deems it advisable to do so;
NOW,THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration:
1. CONSENT. The Mortgagee agrees and consents to the platting of the real
property described in the attached subdivision plat to be known as Ameth3:st Place Subdivision,
Ames,Story County,Iowa,to which this Mortgagee's Consent to Platting.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Mortgagee has caused this instrument to be executed on
its behalf on this 15TIOay of December, 1998.

state, personally appeared JAMES FRIESZ , to me personally known, who,
being by me duly sworn, did say that he is the VICE PRESIDENT , of said
CORPORATION executing the foregoing instrument; that NO SEAL has been procured by the
said corporation; that said instrument was signed on behalf of said corporation by authority of its
Board of Directors; and that the said JAMES FRIESZ as such officer acknowledged the
execution of said instrument to be the voluntary act and deed of said corporation, by it and by him
