BEING A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT OF ALLE'NVIEW SECOND
ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF" ADVIES, IC:WA, AND ALSO
ACCEPTING CERTAIN LANDS IN SAID PLATTED AREA FOR STREET
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa a plat of Allenview Second Addition, being an addition to the City
of Ames, Story County, Iowa, and involving the land hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the said plat has been submitted to the City Plan
Commission as required by law and has been returned to this Council with
the recommendations of the said City Pan Commission; and
WHEREAS, Phil Coy and Sons, a partnership composed of Jack Coy
and Richard Coy; Jack Coy and Elizabeth E. Coy, husband and wife; Richard
Coy and Gretchen Coy, husband and wife; and Richard K. Bliss and Patricia
L. Bliss, husband and wife; are the sole owners of all of the land hereinafter
described to be known as Allenview Second Addition to Ames, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, it now appears that the said owners of said property have
met all conditions as prescribed by Chapter 409 of the 1962 Code of Iowa as
amended to date and as prescribed by the platting ordinance of the City of
Ames as amended to date with respect to the platting of said addition; and
WHEREAS, the, said owners of said real estate hereinafter described
then on the 3U11day of DeGembcr 196 64 dedicated and set
apart for public use as streets and avenues certain portions of the said
Allenview Second Addition to Ames, Iowa, as shown and designated on the
plat thereof now on file with the City Clerk of the City of Ames, Iowa; and

WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
it is advisable and to the best interest of the City of Ames and of all persons
concerned that the said plat be accepted and that the dedication of the streets
and avenues be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Ames, Iowa, that the plat of Allenview Second Addition, being an
addition to the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa., and involving the real
estate described as follows, to-wit:

the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 34, Township 84 North, Range
24 West of the 5th P. M. , Story County, Iowa, thence South 890 12' West,
1210. 0 feet; thence North 00 10' East, 174. 0 feet to the point of beginning;
thence South 830 56' West, 465. 7 feet; thence Northwesterly on a 231. 1
feet radius curve, concave to the Southwest and whose long chord bears
