HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Plat of Survey for 712 and 718 Duff Avenue DO NOT WRITE IN THE SPACE ABOVE THIS LINE,RESERVED FOR RECORDER Prepared by:Douglas R.Marek,Ames City Attorney,515 Clark Avenue,Ames,IA 50010 Phone:515-239-5146 Return to:Ames City Clerk,P.O.Box 811,Ames,IA 50010 Phone:515-239-5105 RESOLUTION NO. 11-198 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR 712 AND 718 DUFF AVENUE FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line adjustment per Section 23.308 of the Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS,the site is located at 712 and 718 Duff Avenue, and the owners are Sanjeevi Sivasankar and Ruth Embaie, and Mary Sarah Bergh,respectively; and, WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with the following conditions: 1)update page 1 of the plat to show the existing electric utility easements along a portion of the north property line of Parcel A, a portion of the south property line of Parcel B, and the rear property line of both parcels;and a gas utility easement between Parcel A and Parcel B;,and, 2)update the plat to include the signature block of the Planning and Housing Director; and, WHEREAS, the Council must render a final decision of approval if it agrees with the Department's preliminary decision. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that the Plat of Survey for 712 Duff Avenue and 718 Duff Avenue is hereby approved. ADOPTED THIS 26'day of April,2011.
