Home My WebLink About~Master - Parking Lot closure for VEISHEA events RESOLUTION NO. 1.1-108 RESOLUTION APPROVING CLOSURE OF CITY LOT Y FOR VEISHEA EVENTS FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS,the Ames Police Department is requesting that they be allowed to close City Lot Y(south of Fire Station 2)from 4:00 p.m.on Friday,April 15,until 6:00 a.m.on Saturday,April 16, and again from 4:00 p.m. Saturday,April 16, until 6:00 a.m. Sunday,April 17, for staging of law enforcement equipment as needed for VEISHEA activities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the requested closure of City Lot Y for VEISHEA activities is hereby approved. ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of March, 2011.
