CITY OF AMES,IOWA
RESOLUTION NO. 11-105
Approving final plat of Safly Subdivision,Boone County,Iowa
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Ames,Iowa:
1. The City Council has authority in chapters 354 and 355 of the Code of Iowa(2011)and under the
ordinances of the City of Ames,to review and approve subdivision plats of lands lying within the
corporate limits of the city and within two miles thereof.
2. Jack S. Safly as Trustee under the Revocable Living Trust Agreement of Frances R. Safly
dated January 17,2006 has executed a Consent to Platting for a subdivision to be known as Safly
Subdivision, Boone County, Iowa and has requested that the city review and approve the subdivi-
sion plat.
3. The City Council finds that said subdivision plat together with all of the required attachments and
submissions complies with all requirements of chapters 354 and 355 of the Code of Iowa and the
platting ordinance of the City of Ames.
4. The City Council accepts and approves the subdivision plat to be known as:
Safly Subdivision,Boone County,Iowa,
which is a replat of certain real property more particularly described as:
The Northwest '/< of the Northwest '/a of Section 24, Township 83
North,Range 25 West of the 5th P.M.,Boone County,Iowa.
5. The Clerk is authorized and directed to certify and affix to said plat a true copy of this resolution
in accordance with sections 354.8 and 354.11 of the Code of Iowa.
APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION: In accordance with Iowa Code section 380.5, the undersigned ap-
proves the foregoing as enacted on the 22 day of March ,2011,by the City Council.

The City Council of Ames,Iowa,met in regular session in the council chambers,City Hall,Ames,
Iowa, at 7:00 P.M., on the 22 day of March ,2011,with the Mayor presiding and the
following Council Members present and absent:
Present: Devi c, Goodman, MahaVni_, Orazem, Wacha
Absent: Larsox
Council Member Orazem introduced the resolution and moved its adoption. Council
Member Davis seconded the motion to adopt. The Mayor called for a vote upon the question
of the approval of the motion.. The Council Members voted as follows:.

The Mayor declared the resolution adopted.
