RESOLUTION APPROVING 2009/10 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE
AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) regulations require that,
within 90 days from the end of its fiscal year, the City must prepare a Consolidated Annual
Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), which is to be submitted to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before September 30, 2010; and,
WHEREAS,due to workload on flood recovery efforts,City staff requested and was granted
an extension until December 31, 2010; and,
WHEREAS,the 2009/10 CAPER reports accomplishments in relation to goals and objectives
identified in the City's 2009/14 Consolidated Plan requirements for the use of CDBG funding and
in the Annual Action Plan for fiscal year July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010; and,
WHEREAS,the CAPER provides statistical information not captured by HUD's Integrated
Disbursement and Information System; and,
WHEREAS, HUD regulations require that the CAPER be available for a 15-day public
review and comment period, which occurred November 30, 2010, through December 14, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the 2009/10 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 14tt' day of December, 2010.
