RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
FOR SOUTH DUFF AREA STORM SEWER RECONSTRUCTION
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the South
Duff Area Storm Sewer Reconstruction Project for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a
contract dated May 26, 2009,by and between the City of Ames,Iowa, and Keller Excavating, Inc.,
of Boone, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the South Duff Area Storm Sewer Reconstruction
Project has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the
contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $1,096,465.25.
Section 3. The amount due Keller Excavating, Inc., of Boone, Iowa, is hereby ordered
paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
