RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF FEE
FOR USE OF ELECTRICITY IN CITY HALL PARKING LOT N AND
IN MAIN STREET CULTURAL DISTRICT
FOR MIDNIGHT MADNESS ACTIVITIES
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, the Midnight Madness organization is holding its annual race and post-race
activities on Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12, 2009; and,
WHEREAS,City Hall Parking Lot N will be closed for the post-race activities,and it is being
requested that the fee for electricity used in Lot N and the Main Street Cultural District be waived.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the waiver of fees for electricity used in City Hall Parking Lot N and the Main Street Cultural
District for Midnight Madness activities on July 11-12, 2009, is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 23rd day of June, 2009.
