HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Contracts for minor equipment purchases for Furman Aquatic Center RESOLUTION NO. 09-206 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF MINOR EQUIPMENT FOR THE FURMAN AQUATIC CENTER FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 16`' day of April, 2009, for the purchase of Minor Equipment for the Furman Aquatic Center for the Parks and Recreation Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed. IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows: Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows: United Industries of Sterling, Kansas, in the amount of$17,789.75 Recreonics of Louisville, Kentucy, in the amount of$15,226.23 WMS Aquatics of Ellensburg, Washington, in the amount of$8,284.14 Adolph Kiefer&Associates of Zion, Illinois, in the amount of$4,881.21 Marine Rescue Products,Inc.,of Newport,Rhode Island,in the amount of$3,896.00 The Lifeguard Store of Normal, Illinois, in the amount of$2,180.00 Lincoln Equipment of Concord, California, in the amount of$2,400.00 Recreation Supply of Bismarck,North Dakota, in the amount of$347.00 Aquatic Technology, Inc., of Vassalboro, Maine, in the amount of 34.95 Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contracts for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
