RESOLUTION NUMBER 08-422
ACCEPTING PLAT OF SECOND ADDITION,
H & B SUBDIVISION TO AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,
a plat of real estate described as:
Lots One(1)and Two (2),H&B Subdivision to Ames,Iowa;and the South
140 feet of the West 122.5 feet of the East 222.5 feet of that portion of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter(SEt/4-SWt/4),lying South of the
C&NW Railroad Right-of-way,except the North 800 feet thereof and except
the South 63 feet thereof; and Parcel "E" in the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter(SW'/4- SEt/4) as shown on the Plat of Survey filed in the
office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on October 15, 2001 and
recorded as Instrument No. 01-14023 on Slide 110 at Page 2; all in Section
One(1),Township Eighty-three(83)North,Range Twenty-four(24)West of
the 5th P.M., in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa,
to be known as SECOND ADDITION,H & B,SUBDIVISION TO AMES, IOWA, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
recommended that the plat be approved and dedicated property accepted, and
WHEREAS,the owner of said real estate,H&B Properties,L.L.C.,an Iowa Limited
Liability Company has executed a written Consent declaring that the platting is with

its free consent and is in accordance with its desires as proprietor, and
WHEREAS,it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that the
plat should be approved and dedicated land accepted,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa,that the plat of SECOND ADDITION,H&B SUBDIVISION TO AMES,IOWA,be and it
is hereby accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the acts of H&B Properties, L.L.C., are
hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,on this 23 day
