RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF FEE FOR FIREWORKS PERMIT
FOR AMES HIGH HOMECOMING PARADE
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Ames High School has requested permission to display fireworks after the
Ames High Homecoming football game on September 19, 2008; and,
WHEREAS,the fireworks display will take place at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the Ames High
Stadium; and,
WHEREAS, the Ames High School Homecoming organizers are requesting a waiver of the
Fireworks Permit fee in the amount of$25.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that
the waiver of the Fireworks Permit fee in the amount of$25.00 for a fireworks display on September 19,
2008, after the Homecoming football game is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of August, 2008.
