RESOLUTION NO. 08-305
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE BY THE CITY OF
AMES, IOWA OF ITS RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN CERTAIN LAND
CONSTITUTING A PART OF THE VACATED ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY
BETWEEN 11TH STREET, 12TH STREET, GRAND AVENUE AND WILSON
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA TO NATHAN SAETVEIT AND DEB
SONDALL SAETVEIT
BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that the conveyance by the City of
Ames,Iowa of its right,title and interest in the land constituting a part of the vacated alley right-of-way between
I la' Street, 12th Street, Grand Avenue and Wilson Avenue in the City of Ames, Iowa, said land being more
specifically described as:
The South eight feet(8')of the West one hundred feet(100')of the east/west
alley in Block 2,Lee's Addition to Ames, Story County,Iowa
to Nathan Saetveit and Deb Sondall Saetveit for and in consideration of the payment to the City of Ames,Iowa of
$2,124.00 and the grant of an easement for utility purposes shall be and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a quit claim
deed with respect to the above described land for and on behalf of the City of Ames,Iowa and the City Clerk shall
attest there.
