RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
FOR UNIT NO. 8 COOLING TOWER REBUILD PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Electric Services Department has filed a certificate of completion for the
Unit No. 8 Cooling Tower Rebuild Project for the City of Ames,Iowa,in accordance with a contract
dated April 10, 2007, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and EvapTech, Inc., of Lenexa,
Kansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Unit No. 8 Cooling Tower Rebuild Project has been
fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is
hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $229,293.00.
Section 3. The amount due EvapTech,Inc., of Lenexa, Kansas, is hereby ordered paid
as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
