RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF
BLANKET VENDING LICENSE FEE FOR
TUNE IN TO MAIN STREET ACTIVITIES
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, on May 8, 2007, the Council approved the requests of the Main Street Cultural
District(MSCD)to hold Tune in to Main Street concerts on Thursdays from May 31 through August 2,
2007; and,
WHEREAS,due to inclement weather,the concert on June 21 had to be canceled,and the band
scheduled for the 21't is willing to perform on August 9, 2007; and,
WHEREAS,for August 9,the MSCD is requesting the waiver of a Blanket Vending License fee
for the Central Business District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,that
the request to waive the Blanket Vending License fee for the Tune in to Main Street concert on August 9,
2007, is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 24" day of July, 2007.
