RESOLUTION APPROVING 2007/08
AMES INTERNATIONAL PARTNER CITIES ASSOCIATION FUNDING AGREEMENT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS,during the 2007/08 budget approval process,the Council included$3,000 in funding
for use by the Ames International Partner Cities Association (AIPCA); and,
WHEREAS, each year,the parties into this agreement to confirm the manner in which AIPCA
will use this funding; and,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Council approval,this year's agreement contacts a one-time provision
allowing AIPCA to draw down the 2007/08 funding for expenses incurred in June 2007 as they host the
first of two Koshu delegations to visit Ames this year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,that
the 2007/08 funding contract with the Ames International Partner Cities Association in an amount not
to exceed $3,000 is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 12t'' day of June, 2007.
