RESOLUTION SUPPORTING LOCAL CONTROL
OF SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, hereby request that the Iowa General Assembly and the Governor of the State of Iowa pass
legislation allowing local control of smoking in public places.
ADOPTED THIS 9t'day of January, 2007.
