RESOLUTION APPROVING URBAN DEER MANAGEMENT
HUNTING RULES
WHEREAS, the Municipal Code provides authority to the City Manager to promulgate
regulations to administer the Urban Deer Management Program and to ensure the public safety;and
WHEREAS,the Special Urban Deer Task Force has reviewed and recommended adoption
of such regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the Urban Deer Management Hunting Rules are approved with an effective date of
October 1, 2006.
