Home My WebLink About~Master - Appointment to fill 2nd ward seat RESOLUTION NO. 06-303 RESOLUTION APPOINTING MIKE HAMILTON TO FILL THE TEMPORARY VACANCY IN THE WARD TWO POSITION ON THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the Ward Two seat on the City Council is vacant, and WHEREAS, the City Council previously declared and published its intention to fill by appointment the anticipated vacancy in the Ward Two position on the City Council pursuant to Section 372.13(2)(a) of the Code of Iowa, and WHEREAS, Mike Hamilton is an eligible elector and a resident of Ward Two,therefore: BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that it hereby appoints Mike Hamilton to fill the vacancy in the Ward Two position on the City Council.
