RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY AND THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT AWARD FOR XENACOM
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, in December 2005, the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED)
agreed to provide a $10,000 Comprehensive Management Award to Xenacom; and,
WHEREAS,the Award was passed through the City of Ames and required the City to enter
into an agreement with the IDED; and,
WHEREAS, the IDED recently authorized an additional $5,000 award, which will require
modification of the agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the City's only responsibilities under the agreement were to pass-through the
Award funding and to collect and forward reports to IDED on Xenacom expenditures of the award
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the modification of the agreement between the City of Ames and the Iowa Department of
Economic Development to provide a pass-through award and related reporting for the
Comprehensive Management Award for Xenacom is hereby approved.
