HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Waiver of subdivision regulations for 3244 Cameron School Road RESOLUTION NO. 04-536 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS FOR PROPERTY AT 3244 CAMERON SCHOOL ROAD FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS,on November 15,2004,David and Karen Jamison requested a waiver of public infrastructure requirements for a proposed residential subdivision outside the Ames corporate limits and within the City's two-mile area for subdivision jurisdiction; and, WHEREAS, waiver of the public infrastructure requirements would allow the subdivision approval process to proceed as a minor subdivision; and, WHEREAS, the property owners plan to use the Xenia Rural Water System or wells and septic systems; and, WHEREAS,the property owners propose to divide the land into two residential lots and one parcel of land to be added to the road right-of-way for Cameron School Road; and, WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 23.103(1)of the Municipal Code,the Council may modify or waive the requirements of the subdivision regulations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the request to waive the requirements for public infrastructure for the proposed Jamison Subdivision located at 3244 Cameron School Road is hereby approved subj ect to receipt of executed documents for Covenant for Assessment of Costs and Covenant Pertaining to Water Service.
