RESOLUTION APPROVING INVESTMENT REPORT
FOR QUARTER ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2004,
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the attached summary report on the City of Ames' investments covers the
quarter ending September 30, 2004; and,
WHEREAS,the investments are valued at amortized cost,which reflects the same basis that
the assets are carried on the financial records of the City; and,
WHEREAS, all investments are in compliance with the current City of Ames' Investment
Policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the Investment Report for Quarter Ending September 30,2004,as attached,is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 11 th day of October, 2004.
