HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Shrine Bowl blanket Temporary Obstruction Permit RESOLUTION NO. 04-296 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR BLANKET TEMPORARY OBSTRUCTION PERMIT FOR MAIN STREET CULTURAL DISTRICT BUSINESSES ON JULY 24, 2004 WHEREAS, the Shrine Bowl is planning to have the Iowa All-Star Game in Ames on Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Jack Trice Stadium; and, WHEREAS,as part of this event,Iowa Shrine Bowl is requesting to temporarily close streets for a parade, which will help kick off the day's events; and, WHEREAS, organizers have also requested a Blanket Temporary Obstruction Permit to allow retailers in the Main Street Cultural District to display merchandise. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that a Blanket Temporary Obstruction Permit is hereby approved to allow retailers in the Main Street Cultural District to display merchandise on July 24, 2004.
